This is the holiday Season that every one is busy looking for a great side dish recipe to add to their party menu. I just cannot think of a party meal without good old potatoes. This is a very flavorful and easy to prepare potato fry that gives a very rich and authentic taste with a good amount of spiciness, but not enough to hurt! The Combination of spices goes well with the creamy boiled potatoes, caramelized onions and touch of tamarind adds the sweet and Tangy flavor to enrich your taste buds. This dish is traditionally prepared one day before the serving, so all flavors will be wonderfully absorbed to the potatoes.

1tsp Chili powder
1 green chili chopped
1/4tsp Turmeric powder
1 Cinnamon stick
1/2tsp Mustard seed (grounded)

1 Tbl Spoon Tamarind Juice
1. Cut the potatoes into 1-2 inch cubes.
2. Heat the oil in a pan, and add the onions and curry leaves. When partially fried, reduce the heat.
